Recently I was commissioned to shoot at a Yorkshire based farm shop.
The shop has a coffee shop and restaurant as part of it offer to its visiting customers.
Local Food is becoming more and more in the public eye, the benefits to the local economy is clear and the quality of locally produced meats and produce are now looked upon as a positive purchase to help reduce food miles and also the importance of eating seasonal produce.
Running any business in Leeds, Harrogate and across Yorkshire or further afield has many of the same challenges. You need to engage with your customer and more often than not this will include a website, brochure or something similar, maybe a facebook page.
However you communicate with your customers, one thing is certain, to retain their custom.
The appearance of your business, products and website are vitally important.
When you approach this, you must use the services of a professional photographer. If not, you run the risk of producing an inferior visual to your customers, and they will almost certainly deal with another business who has invested in the services of a professional photographer.
You invest in good design, good staff to run or help you run your business, so do the same when it comes to photography, always use a professional.
