Keeping cool in the summer with Kelly’s of Cornwall ice cream photography.
4th July 2014
I had a great opportunity to work on an ice cream shoot recently. We had a fantastic day photographing a range of new products which celebrate the best of Britain’s fresh summer fruits from Eton Mess to Toffee Apple.
Each new food shot of the ice cream was given its own individual treatment with food props and appropriate styling to create the final look.
Working closely with the client, advertising agency and food stylist is key ingredient to a successful food photography session, prior planning and discussions as to how we go about presenting what is a challenging product is vital to a commercial photography project such as this going well.
These new images represent a new start for Kelly’s of Cornwall ice cream in the images that promote their products, these images and more can also bee seen in my food photography portfolio.
Working as a food photographer for the last 18 years has been a joy and if you ask anyone that knows me, I have a sweet tooth, so photographing ice cream was a dream come true.
I have worked with a large selection of clients from national brands such as Kelly’s of Cornwall to smaller independent local producers in Leeds and across the Yorkshire region.
